Main duties of the job
We acknowledge that we are living in very challenging times and our Trust has much work to do to improve our performance and improve services. This will start with responding to the findings of the CQC inspection of which the Executive Chief Nurse will play a key role alongside key executives and the wider board. As our new Executive Chief Nurse, you will provide professional leadership - and will be a visible role model - for our 7,000 nurses, midwives and AHPs as we continue to develop, ensuring that patient safety, quality of care and the experience of patients and their families are central to all we do. You will champion a professional and open culture which empowers staff to consistently deliver quality care with compassion, whilst taking a leading role in tackling our challenges.
