Job summary
We are seeking to recruit a Band 8a Matron - Infection Prevention and Control. You will be responsible and accountable for the operational management and leadership of Infection Prevention and Control Team within the Patient Services Directorate
You will have experience of working at a senior level within an NHS or health care setting with extensive clinical expertise in Infection Prevention and Control.
You will need a proven track record of working effectively and delivering improvement and innovation. Excellent communication skills are essential with the ability to articulate at the appropriate level complex and sometimes contentious information.
