Job summary

You will be the lead for the People Systems and Data function within the Human Resources department with responsibility for providing a comprehensive, professional, high quality and effective service across the Trust.

Not only will you be joining innovative colleagues in People Systems and Data team, you'll also be joining a supportive and collaborative senior team as part of the Workforce Engagement and Information Systems service.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for shaping and delivering the people systems and data agenda to support the Trust to meet its key strategic and operational objectives.

This will involve having accountability for systems such as Electronic Staff Record (ESR), Health Roster, Registration Authority as well as overseeing the innovative technologies across HR, such as Power BI and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant subject
  • Post Graduate qualification or equivalent specialist experience/knowledge

Desirable

  • Educated to degree level in an informatics/Systems/Statistics related subject or equivalent experience

Knowledge

  • Evidence of continued professional development.
  • Experience of using ESR
  • Recent and relevant operational management experience
  • Demonstrable experience of successfully managing a team
  • Demonstrable Project Management experience over the short, medium and long term
  • Experience of implementing or enhancing electronic workforce solutions
  • Substantial experience of using/ interrogating workforce/data systems to inform business decisions
  • Experience of measuring performance through robust datasets and/or business intelligence
