Job summary
The Newcastle Hospitals and Community Services Staff Bank provide temporary staff to various wards and departments across the Trust. We are looking for experienced administrators to join our team of valued bank staff.
The availability of bank work can fluctuate and whilst there is no commitment to work a specific number of hours, applications are sought from individuals who are looking for regular work.
Currently, we are not recruiting staff for evening or weekend work.
You would be an integral member of our committed team of bank administrators to work within the Trust in a variety of interesting assignments and roles. Opportunities may be available to work at higher bands, depending upon previous experience/qualifications.
Main duties of the job
Our Admin & Clerical Bank is used to cover longer-term placements within the Trust. Therefore you should be available to cover regular full or part time hours during core office hours, Monday-Friday, subject to availability.

- All pay progression is conditional upon a positive outcome at annual appraisal.
- All successful candidates who require a DBS for the post they have been offered pay for their DBS certificate. The method of payment is a salary deduction from your first month's pay. You will be required to sign a DBS payment form which will be issued to you as part of your recruitment process.
- All new employees will be required to attend the Trust induction programme and complete appropriate mandatory training requirements.
