Job summary
We are seeking applications from registered Dental Nurse Tutors with a wide range of post qualification chairside experience plus recognised teaching qualification e.g. Certificate in Further Education or equivalent teaching experience and significant previous experience as a Dental Nurse tutor / Assessor to join this busy teaching hospital as part of a team providing a first class dental nursing training.
The focus of the role is to deliver teaching to Apprentice Dental Nurses as well as direct line management of the cohort. The ideal candidate will be well organized, flexible in your approach to work and can work well as part of a team.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will:
Be responsible for the teaching of up to 10 apprentices in classroom-based learning as well as direct line management of the Apprentices.
Support tutor colleagues with assessing and IQA responsibilities.
Ensure compliance to GDC standards for self and apprentices.
Deliver teaching that ensures compliance with Trust's clinical governance framework.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the School of Dental Nursing.
Have current knowledge of apprenticeship standards and EPA delivery.
