Job summary

We are delighted to be able to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated, ambitious individual to join our well integrated team of consultants, specialty doctors, specialty trainees, specialist nurses, nurse practitioners and physician associates.

We are looking for a doctor to join us for one session, to work alongside a consultant in a general dermatology / outreach clinic. Site and timing of clinic can be discussed to suit applicant within reason.

Main duties of the job

Clinical:

  • Assessment of patients with inflammatory skin clinic
  • Prescription of systemic medications for inflammatory skin disease

Administrative:

  • Checking of blood and biopsy results and appropriate action
  • Creation of clinical records and GP / patient letters

Research:

  • No specific commitments but enthusiasm for audit and quality improvement would be welcomed

Teaching:

  • There may occasionally be undergraduate students or pupil nurses in clinic but no specific role
