Job summary
We would like to recruit full and part time Band 3 Patient Navigators to work within the Single Point of access team working alongside the Community Adult Nursing Teams based at Regent Point.
We are looking for reliable and flexible individuals to support the service. The actual hours of the post will be discussed at interview as the admin team work daily 8am to 10pm 7 days a week.

Main duties of the job
- Manage own workload on a day-to-day basis and work independently.
- Manages any concerns surrounding extended access raised by the administration team and escalates appropriately.
- Maintain confidentiality within the team at all times when dealing with sensitive issues, relating to patients or to their partners using discretion and initiative.
- Identify own training needs; with own annual IDR and PDP.
- Supervise, train, develop and support other clerical staff.
- Responsible for the efficient and effective administrative support to the Admin Team Lead and clinical staff.
- Work closely with the Community Nursing Teams.
- Work as part of the Urgent and Emergency Care Alliance.
