Job summary

  • Be an effective member of the multi-disciplinary team assisting the unit.

Main duties of the job

  • Maintain a safe ,clean and comfortable environment for the patients.
  • Stocking up and maintaining supplies.
  • Communicating with patients and maintain hydration .
  • Complete daily environmental checklists.
  • Ordering unit needs via Oracle

About us

  • Maintain confidentiality as outlined within data protection policies.
  • Ensure accurate records in the monitoring of equipment and ward checklist.
  • Ensure there is a record of all equipment sent for repair and outcomes.

  • Be an effective member of the multi-disciplinary team assisting the Ward/Department to maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for the patients, their families and visitors.
  • Report any concerns regarding the patient's condition to the qualified nurse.
  • Maintain patients' privacy and dignity at all times.
  • Report to the Nurse in Charge any issues that may prevent cleaning or compromise the safety of the environment.
  • Actively contribute to the provision of nutrition of the patients on the Ward/Department.
  • May undertake administrative and clinical duties as required.
  • To abide by Trust policies and procedures.
