Job summary
It is an exciting time to join Newcastle Hospitals Charity as the charity delivers on an ambitious 5 year strategy to improve the health and wellbeing of the patients, people and wider communities of Newcastle Hospitals, providing support for compassionate and innovative healthcare, education and research, locally and globally.
A key role within a dynamic and welcoming charity team, the Communications Manager has a leading role in creating and identifying profile raising opportunities and in developing and delivering on a communications plan that positions the charity by engaging key audiences and stakeholders.

Main duties of the job
The Communications Manager will:- develop and deliver an engaging communications plan that ensures that all aspects of the Charity are effectively promoted and communicated to key audiences, and generates more support for key strategic fundraising priorities;- leads on all charity communications collateral, by developing and delivering a marketing and publication programme and ensure consistency in communications, brand and style;- develop and deliver content for a range of digital and non-digital channels including written communications, video, photography and infographs and effectively adapts content for each channel;- ensure consistency of brand; key messages; PR and digital strategies
