Job summary
We are looking for a dynamic highly motivated orderlies to join the forward thinking team in the new Day Treatment Centre (DTC). The DTC consists of an admission area, 4 operating theatres, a day case assessment area and recovery suite.
This is an exciting new opportunity for an individual who is dedicated to improving patient care.
You will be primarily responsible for transporting patients to each area in the DTC and we are looking for someone who can work independently as an Orderly whilst integrating into the wider MDT.
This centre will enable our teams to carry out thousands of additional low complexity procedures in specialties such as musculoskeletal health (MSK), urology, surgery and some cardiothoracic services, and as such this role is busy yet rewarding job.

Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity to join our theatre orderly team to help provide efficient support for daycase surgeries from multiple specialties. Our orderly team provides an invaluable service transporting patients on trolleys and wheelchairs around the Day treatment centre. They are also involved with a wide range of other duties including, delivering supplies, changing medical gases and cleaning trolleys/equipment. Excellent communication and people skills are essential for this role.
