Job summary
Are you a motivated, empathetic, and detail-oriented individual? CAMHS is looking for a passionate receptionist to join our dedicated Eating disorder team Mawson House . If you're eager to make a difference and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the role for you! We have part time, 25 hours per week position available, hours will be to cover Monday to Friday. As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for young people and families, providing a warm and welcoming experience. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to handle calls and queries efficiently. In this role, you will support our families, young people, and the entire clinical and admin team. Your key responsibilities will include answering and redirecting calls, scanning documents, managing incoming and outgoing post, and assisting with general administrative duties. Main duties of the job
Serve as the first point of contact for young people and families, offering a friendly, welcoming, and professional service. Answer and manage phone calls, redirecting them as necessary and handling inquiries with a calm, clear, and positive manner. Provide administrative support to families, young people, and the clinical and admin teams by addressing queries and assisting with daily operations. Manage incoming post, ensuring it is distributed appropriately to relevant teams. Scan, file, and organize documents as part of the administrative process. Maintain a professional and efficient reception area, managing the flow of visitors and ensuring a safe and organized environment. Work closely with the admin team to support day-to-day operations and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the service.
