Neurodevelopmental Non-Medical Prescriber /Pharmacist Prescriber CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Pathway The CAMHS Neurodevelopmental (ND) Pathway are seeking an experienced Non-medical Prescriber (NMP) or Pharmacist Prescriber to join our diverse & innovative multi-disciplinary team to provide ND assessments for young people. The post holder will work alongside a multidisciplinary team with responsibility for ND assessment, diagnosis & initiation of treatment, including medication. The NMP/PP will work in a variety of settings, working closely with CAMHS colleagues to support an integrated delivery of quality care. They will manage their own caseload but will also supervise & assist the ongoing development of the other team members. As a band 7 neurodevelopmental specialist nurse/pharmacist prescriber, you would need to be qualified & experienced as a non-medical prescriber/pharmacist prescriber. You will work closely with the team to effectively monitor & review medications used for ADHD. The successful candidate would independently run clinics to facilitate this. The applicant will bring experience of working autonomously within a multiagency arena. Main duties of the job

As a Non-medical Prescriber (NMP)/Pharmacist Prescriber, the post holder will undertake the assessment and diagnosis of CYP within neurodevelopmental services. As a NMP/Pharmacist Prescriber you will hold a medication caseload and assess physical health and monitoring in line with safe prescribing will be undertaken. The post holder will work within the outpatient service, undertaking initial assessments of new referrals alongside MDT colleagues, plus co-working with colleagues within the MDT as required. As a senior clinician provision of clinical supervision and line management of staff will also be undertaken in accordance with NMC and trust policies.
