The Learning Disability & Autism Service provides specialist interventions to support adults, in various settings, utilising a multi-disciplinary team.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced administrative leader to join the team and lead others to ensure the administrative component of service delivery is effective and focussed on excellent patient experience and customer care; which is improved through the development of the workforce; implementation of new technologies and changes to process and practice.
A key part of this role will be to engage patients and carers to work with us to make our services better.

Main duties of the job
- Work with the Operational Manager to provide a cohesive administration service that effectively underpins the clinical activity of the FYPC/LDA directorate, releasing clinical time to increase capacity and eliminate duplication.
- Effectively lead and manage teams of administrative staff to enable the development of skills and competences that support cross skilling and to meet the requirements of multi-disciplinary team working.
- Keep abreast of the fast paced and pressurised agenda of the administrative service assisting in the operational changes that support day to day standard operating procedures.
- Ensure Key Performance Indicators for the service area are met and contribute to a continuing cycle of development and change.
- Responsible for addressing performance of a number of teams within a varied portfolio.
- Active engagement in patient and carer forums.
- Attendance and representation at Service and Directorate meetings.
