We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Assistant to join our team at Charnwood Community Mental Health Team on a 12 months fixed term contract.
This is an incredibly rewarding role working with a team who support people with mental health issues within the Charnwood area. As a Business Assistant you will provide a comprehensive administrative service to the multi-disciplinary team within the community setting. You will be joining a welcoming team who work well together and support each other.
For this role, we are looking for people with great administration experience and strong communication skills with the ability to work on their own and in a team. You'll need to be highly organised with good planning skills and highly skilled in Microsoft Office. Main duties of the job
We are looking for someone who is caring and compassionate and who can develop relationships and communicate effectively within a team. The post-holder will be a key member of the team, providing professional and efficient administrative services.
You will need to organise, plan and prioritise your own workload, to be responsive to the changing needs of the service, utilising and maintaining electronic and hard-copy office systems to ensure the smooth-running of the service or team. The successful candidate will posses excellent IT and audio-typing skills, good written and verbal communication skills, the ability to liaise with service users in a calm and compassionate manner and the ability to work positively and proactively as part of the wider administrative and clinical teams.
As a Business Assistant, you will be required to attend meetings, taking minutes/notes of the meeting, circulating documentation including identifying actions ensuring they are logged, prioritised, and are followed up.
You will be planning and organising training, diary management of appointments and of the multi-disciplinary team and also events which will include co-ordinating travel arrangements and guest speakers.
You will support the processing of complex forensic patient referrals which involves collating information from various internal/external agencies.
