Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for three highly motivated and highly skilled practitioners to join the Trusts safeguarding team as a Senior Safeguarding Practitioner's.
In this role you will play an integral part in making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable adults and children, supporting practitioners with specialist advice and guidance to ensure excellence in safeguarding across the trust, as well as facilitating training and attending multi-agency meetings including strategy meetings.

You will work as part of the LPT Safeguarding Team to support the development and delivery of high quality safeguarding practice across the range of services provided by Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT).
You will deliver visible professional leadership for all staff groups in the trust, on all aspects of safeguarding children and adults, and develop professional practice across the Trust ensuring the provision of effective, safe and evidence based care. You will implement the Trust and Multi-Agency policies and procedures, acting promptly on concerns, communicating effectively and sharing and recording information appropriately. In role you will be expected to attend and contribute effectively to multi- agency child strategy meetings. You must hold a relevant professional qualification.
