Job summary
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is a specialist service offering mental health assessment and intervention to children and young people (up to the age of 18 years) who need more help with their mental health.
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Assistant to provide exceptional support to our managers, ensuring the smooth running of our vital services.
As a Senior Business Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the leadership team within CAMHS.
This dynamic position will see you managing complex diaries, coordinating high-priority meetings, and providing seamless administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
Your contributions will directly enable our managers to focus on driving meaningful outcomes for the young people and families we serve.

Main duties of the job
- Provide high-level administrative support to managers, including managing correspondence, preparing documents, and minute-taking for critical meetings.
- Coordinate schedules, arrange meetings, and manage diaries with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Act as the first point of contact for the management team, ensuring communication is clear, professional, and timely.
- Assist in project coordination, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are effectively allocated.
- Maintain and improve organisational systems to enhance productivity and service delivery.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating diplomacy and professionalism at all times.
- Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
