We are now seeking to recruit an Associate Medical Director for our Directorate of Mental Health services on a part time basis. 

We are really pleased that you are seeking a career at LPT.

You will be part of the senior medical management team to support the Medical Director and demonstrate visible senior clinical leadership. You will oversee, support and develop the medical and wider clinical workforce and service Clinical Directors.

You will be an experienced practising Consultant with excellent standards of clinical practice and competence .  It is expected you will be the champion of Adult Mental Health & Mental health services for older people and develop effective relationships with people in partner organisations and diverse communities.

drive the strategic development of the Directorate to deliver large scale transformation, high quality safe and effective care, which is robustly governed within a continuous quality approach.

Qualifications

Essential

• Medically qualified
• Continued professional development / personal development
• Additional qualification in health and social care related field, including management qualification

Desirable

• N/A

Experience

Essential

• Current practising Consultant with senior level clinical experience
• Experience managing individuals and teams
• Experience in implementing change programmes or initiatives

Desirable

• Experience in managing a range of different disciplines
• Experience in transformation involving services
