Commencing this year with Charnwood district & street outreach to people rough sleeping across the whole counties of Leicestershire and Rutland. The role requires occasional street outreach to people rough sleeping, alongside the Council housing outreach teams. This sometimes involves significant walking, working in inclement weather, and often in challenging environments and some limited out of hours working (6am start) on a rota basis. Applicants must be prepared to undertake required duties as part of the HMHS. Operating from various locations and some home working. The core working pattern is Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm. Work may dictate some occasional out of hours working (enhancements paid). A salary sacrifice car scheme is currently in operation, applicants must be car drivers/owners (or have a suitable alternative)

As a Support Time and Recovery (STR) Worker you will provide flexible community based support to people who are homeless & experiencing mental health difficulties in Leicester, helping to deliver the very best standards of care. The post holder will provide support and give time to service users in order to promote their Recovery, and help them to maintain their independence in the community.
