We are now seeking to recruit a Consultant Paediatrician to join our community services on a part time basis. We are really pleased that you are seeking a career at LPT, you will work in partnership with members of well-established multi-disciplinary teams, both operationally and strategically to drive forward innovation delivering the best effective care for our patients.

Applications are invited from registered medical practitioners, who have or are eligible for, a CCT or an equivalent approved indicator of training and eligible for entry onto the Specialist Register within six months of the interview date.

Main duties of the job

We want a Consultant Community Paediatrician who can

  • Deliver the highest quality of clinical care to our patients and carers

The post holder will be required to work in partnership within the Consultant-led community paediatric teams. The post holder will need to ensure that people who use services, carers and advocates are treated with respect and dignity

The Consultant has a continuing responsibility for the care of patients and for the proper functioning of the department. The consultant will liaise with staff from Childrens Therapy and Childrens Nursing services, Child and Adolescent Mental Health teams and the staff of Children and young Peoples Education servies. hospital and community specialists and other agencies wherever relevant.
