Job summary
Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust Community Therapy Service works across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR).
We have an exciting secondment opportunity to join our existing Clinical and Operational therapy leadership team as a Clinical Physiotherapy Lead within the community therapy team. The 15 month secondment will be based within the East South team located at the Warrens Business Park Leicester LE19 4SA. This is a full time post of 37.5 hours
As a service we operate Monday to Friday 8am-6pm and Saturday/Sunday/Bank holidays 8am-4pm. Hours/days worked are based on a rota system.

UK driving licence / car driver and access to a car is essential for this post. Please do not apply if you are not a car driver who has access to a vehicle.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicants will provide clinical leadership, working closely with the operational lead as part of an integrated therapy and nursing hub to ensure an effective and efficient therapy service as part of the wider LLR system. The post holder will work across locality hubs supporting the staff within their area. This post requires a level of personal responsibility and we are looking for a highly motivated individual who is resilient and proactive, with the ability to prioritise their own workload, use their initiative and has the ability to work on their own and as part of a team. You will demonstrate excellent communication, clinical, leadership and organisational skills and be able to adapt to a changing and pressurised environment whilst being flexible to meet the needs of the service.
Applicants should have a broad range of clinical skills, knowledge and transferable skills gained through prior experience at a Band 6/7 level and will have some community experience. You will be supported to develop by our established team of clinical leads, but must be able to demonstrate your skills to lead and develop therapy clinical skills and knowledge across locality teams and to promote effective teamwork .
