Job summary
Are you an Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) or a Children's Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP)who has experience in delivering low intensity therapy to children and young people? Do you want to be part of a supportive and friendly team?
We are seeking either EMHP's or CWP's to be part of the Mental Health Schools Team (MHST)- please note that either qualification is suitable for this post.
The role is aimed at providing educational based support to Children and Families across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland, in line with mental health intervention.
You will work alongside other professionals and be part of a team that supports a cluster of around 20 schools and colleges each. For more information about the MHST, please see the link to our webpage in the supporting documents for this vacancy.
For this role you will require a full UK Driving License and access to a car- there are two car lease schemes available to LPT employees.
Main duties of the job
The Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) are a nationally driven initiative which offers mental health early intervention and prevention to children and young people. This is via low-intensity CBT both on a 1:1 basis and via groups within education settings.
