The successful candidate will have experience working in an admin role capacity and be able to work cohesively with others to ensure you are maximising the efficient use of time, the resources of the service and with production of high-quality effective reports, training materials and administrative systems and processes.

Stewart House and The Willows are rehabilitation inpatient units providing care for patients who have severe and enduring mental illness.

The Willows - The Willows has 38 beds on four wards Cedar ward has 10 male beds, Sycamore ward has 10 female beds and Maple ward has eight high dependency male beds.

Stewart House Stewart House has 30 beds Skye wing has 15 female beds and Arran wing has 15 male beds.

Main duties of the job

Due to the fast pace and nature of the work, the post holder would be required to have the essential knowledge and experience or be willing to learn and develop from commencement.

The post holder will be responsible in the use and expenditure of the Trusts resources that you utilise, ensuring compliance with the training requirements for your role including mandatory training and to maintain your own learning and development in order to provide an efficient and effective level of service. Participating in supervision via agreed review and appraisal mechanisms to ensure you are clear about the expectations of your role and that you have the opportunity to discuss and raise any concerns with your line manager on a regular basis.

The post holder will communicate effectively, professionally and in a timely manner by e-mail, implementing an email flagging/prioritisation system for self and others to ensure that email responses and actions are identified, and completed or followed up as required, planning and organising clinics, training, meetings, appointments and events, booking venues, and meeting rooms, arranging refreshments, guest speakers, travel arrangements and other resources as required.
