An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the wider CAMHS Administrative team as a Band 4 Senior Business Assistant supporting senior managers.
We are looking for 2 Full-time Senior Business Assistants .
The post holder will be based at the Valentine centre but you will be required to move across all CAMHS bases as fits with managers schedules to support.
Parking is available on site. Please note that for this role you must have access to your own transport or suitable alternative as dependence on public transport is not suitable.
The role is diverse, with each day bringing new challenges. You will have proven ability in using your own initiative, working with confidential and highly sensitive information, showing attention to detail and the ability to work accurately, whilst understanding the importance of adhering to the trust policies and local procedures.
A confident, professional personality with a can do attitude is a must!
The successful candidate will have significant experience working in a Personal Assistant/ Senior Secretarial capacity and be able to work cohesively with others to ensure you are maximising the efficient use of time, the resources of the service and with production of high quality effective reports, training materials and administrative systems and processes.
Main duties of the job
Due to the fast pace and nature of the work, the post holder would be required to have the essential knowledge and experience or be willing to learn and develop from commencement and be able to demonstrate within the following areas.
- Excellent knowledge if Microsoft office including word, PowerPoint, excel and outlook.
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise the diaries and workload of oneself and others (aligned managers) without direct supervision whilst working to meet deadlines.
- The successful candidate will have excellent minute taking skills (as well as experience organising events) including taking accurate and informative minutes/ notes, identifying, and following up actions as this is an essential part of the role of Senior Business Assistants.
- Though some meetings are held via Microsoft Teams there will be travel expected across all of LPT bases to facilitate the face to face meetings.
- Exceptional written, verbal and face to face communication skills. The ability to communicate effectively with professionals and service-users at all levels in health and agencies external to the service.
- Experience of providing administration support to a range of projects and assisting project managers in updating key documentation such as action logs and presentations.
- Assertiveness skills to challenge potentially inappropriate or unsafe actions of others, for the benefit of patients and the service.
