Job summary

Do you have the Passion, Drive and Ability to deliver high quality compassionate care? We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic District Nurses to join us as permanent members within our friendly and integrated Community Nursing teams.

Main duties of the job

Our District Nurses work as part of the team to lead and manage registered and non-registered nurses, taking overall responsibility for the assessment, management and evaluation of care delivered to our patients. Our District Nurses work with Nurses for Complex Care, Senior District Nurses, Senior Nurses for Complex Care, Community Services Matrons and other MDT members to deliver high quality care. You will have responsibility for performance and clinical activity in relation to patient safety, effectiveness of care interventions and patient experience. We offer a formal in-service training programme to facilitate your professional development and you will be fully supported by your senior leadership team. You will also actively participate in regular supervision and appraisal review.
