A working knowledge of this patient group is also required.

You will be working at Gwendolen House and working with Leicestershire Planned Treatment and Recovery Teams ,as part of the pathway for adults who present with moderate to severe difficulties associated with Personality Disorder. The role will initially be to support the City area although this is subject to change in line with transformation/ service need .

The role will be delivering groups in line with our shortened Structured clinical management programme, and later into the full SCM programme.

You will be working within sub-teams which include senior clinical staff, assistant psychology staff and peer support workers to work collaboratively with service users.

Within the service, there is a high level of support, supervision, CPD and training to support staff to provide the treatment options the service offers and this will be provided once you join the team.

We plan to run 2-3 shortened SCM groups within each locality in order to proactively manage the large waiting list for treatment. The service is also planning the development of a 12-18-month SCM group for those with more complex needs.

There is also collaborative working with staff working in the MBT treatment pathway such as the Therapeutic Community and Mentalisation Based intervention programme as part of the overall TSPPD service .
