Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to support Clinical and Quality Governance in the Community Health Services (CHS) Directorate at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust on an initial 9 months Fixed-Term Contract/Secondment. We welcome applicants with a clinical background to apply for the Band 7 Clinical Quality Governance Manager position. In this role you will use your knowledge and experience of clinical and quality governance to support the Directorate Clinical Quality Governance Team in ensuring the efficient, effective and co-ordinated governance of quality, patient safety, risk and incident management.
The post holder will work closely with the Clinical Quality Governance Lead, the Head of Nursing and Quality and their deputies, as well as other key stakeholders such as clinical teams and the Enabling Services to ensure measurable improvement within the Directorate and the Trust, and to ensure that the directorate meets statutory, regulatory and NHS requirements for safe and effective patient care.

Main duties of the job
To support the delivery of the breadth of the Trusts Clinical Quality Governance Model including the effective delivery and oversight of the following agendas - patient safety, clinical effectiveness (including audit, quality improvement and research), patient experience and involvement, risk management and compliance.
To support the delivery of and compliance with the CQCs regulatory framework.
Support the formulation of long-term strategic plans in response to the outcomes of regulatory inspection including CQC improvement targets that relate to the Directorate.
To lead and support the development and maintenance of the Directorate and local risk profile, ensuring that quality standards are adhered to and that risk is escalated appropriately for governance oversight by service lines and DMT.
To undertake highly complex data analysis and interpretation for action on behalf of the directorate, from a wide variety of sources e.g., incident and complaints data, patient feedback, claims, identifying themes and trends to inform quality improvements.
Design and deliver specialist training as required to ensure effective implementation of the breadth of the clinical quality governance agenda.
To support the management of complaints within the Directorate and escalate and act on areas of concerns as required.
