Job summary
We are seeking a highly organised, motivated individual with a positive attitude to work as a Meaningful Activities Coordinator. You will be experienced in planning, resourcing and carrying out events and activities as the role will require you to do this for our patients, making a positive difference to their stay on the ward. The post is based on Clarendon Ward (male, physical health) but you will be expected to cover Beechwood Ward (female) if there is a shortfall of staff.
We work with patients and their families from their admission to the ward through to discharge.You will be working with an experienced therapy team consisting of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Technical Instructors. We are a friendly and caring team working closely with the ward MDT, having the patient at the centre of everything we do whilst also involving families and carers. The working hours for the post are 09.00 -17.00 Monday to Friday.

Peer supervision and in service training are carried out on a regular basis and you will have an annual appraisal.
Free parking is available on site.
