Band 6 Autism Nurse Specialist,Permanent
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Nurse Specialist to join our innovative and well-supported team. This will include working within a well-established Autism Assessment Team across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR).
The role will be enhanced by an induction programme and professional development opportunities, including appraisal and coaching.
We are currently based at Bridge Park Plaza, Thurmaston, on the edge of Watermead Country Park. We will be moving to County Hall, Glenfield Hospital site from End of Spring 2024. Free car parking is available at both sites.
Main duties of the job
The role will include providing assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder for children and young people within LLR. This role will include working closely with Specialist Speech and Language Therapists, Community Paediatricians, Assistant Practitioners and other professionals with the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team.
