Job summary
An exciting opportunity exists within Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust, Learning & Development Department for a highly motivated Receptionist.
We are looking for a well-organised person with excellent interpersonal skills who will be the first point of contact for all visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and experience of working in a customer focused environment.
The role requires the ability to work as part of a wider team as well as having the ability to work independently when required, using initiative, and responding change.
Some light moving and handling is required to ensure training rooms are fit for purpose, ensuring the IT equipment is in full working order as well as the ability to problem solve any IT issues encountered on the day.
As the successful candidate, you will predominately be based at the Education and Training Centre, Glenfield Hospital Site. However, you will also be required to cover reception at the Education and Training Centre at our Beaumont Leys Site, as and when required.
Main duties of the job
- Meeting and greeting of visitors to the training centre/s
- Keeping the reception area clean and tidy
- Re-stocking of the drinks machines for visitors
- Ensuring training rooms are fit for purpose
- Fault reporting
- Printing trust ID badges
- Completing training registers in a timely manner
- General administrative duties
