We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Facilities Coordinator to support the Facilities Management Team at Bradgate Mental Health Unit within Leicester Partnership Trust.

As a Facilities Coordinator you will support the Deputy Facilities Manager to deliver a professional, efficient cost effective service with regards to cleaning, catering and facilities management at Glenfield Hospital.

You will ensure that high departmental standards are maintained and regularly audited and be able to assess work loads and prioritise effectively. We are looking for a Facilities Co-ordinator who is hard working, committed, and thrives in a team environment.

You will support the Deputy Facilities Manager in the delivery of high quality soft facilities services and be responsible for managing the effective and efficient delivery of local site services and facilities on a day to day basis.

You will highly motivated with good communication, organisational skills and analytical approaches to problem solving. You will have the ability to promote the Facilities department and present a customer focused service and to develop, learn and apply new skills and keep up to date with technological progression.

Hours of Work - 37.5 hours

Main duties of the job

Main Duties

  • Day to day running of the multi-skilled Facilities Department, including services such as catering, cleaning, waste management, portering ensuring effective utilisation of resources.

  • Deliver services in accordance with National Standards and on occasions will be expected to provide cover for other Facilities Co-ordinators at other locations across the Trust so a car user is essential.

  • Responsible for ensuring that services delivered are compliant and that patients and visitors are treated in a safe and appropriate environment and staff have the ability to effectively deliver the required care.

  • You will be expected to work a variety of shifts patterns covering bank holidays and be part of an on-call rota with other Facilities Co-ordinators.

  • To work closely and effectively with clinical leaders and teams to develop environments that offer the very best standards for patients, service users and staff and are future-proofed, evidence-based and clinically appropriate.
