Job summary
The CAMHS Eating Disorder Team have been developing a new and innovative pathway for young people with a diagnosis of ARFID. This pathway is already at a pilot stage, and requires ongoing leadership, innovation and drive to progress to the next stages.
The post holder will be required to lead on the continued development of the pathway across LPT including developing clinically appropriate referral criteria and strong protocols for assessment and identifying clinical intervention/signposting. There will be a requirement for significant collaboration between teams and across services. The post holder will be required to lead on the clinical oversight of the pathway, support and supervise team members, and embed clinical governance structures and ensure ongoing evaluation takes place.

Main duties of the job
- To provide clinical oversight on the continued development of the ARFID pathway including: embedding clear referral and assessment criteria and protocols, developing sound and evidenced based intervention protocols and ensuring the continued evaluation of the pathway
- To clinically and operationally supervise other team members from different clinical backgrounds; ensure appropriate CPD is in place for the team; continue to promote a cohesive and collaborative ethos within the team
- Liaison, collaboration and consultation with wider stakeholders, including paediatrics, dietetics and wider CAMHS services
- Ensure the continued development of clinical governance structures including reporting on KPIs and ensuring there are robust processes for collating and recording key outcome measures
- Overseeing the development of a group work/ workshop programme, and supporting team members to facilitate this offer
- Connecting with national service providers and remaining up to date with policy, research and the evidence base; ensuring the pathway is consistent with local and national drivers and initiatives
- Offering training and consultation when required
