Job summary

We are looking for enthusiastic Physiotherapists with a clinical interest and experience in musculoskeletal conditions to join our supportive and forward thinking MSK service which delivers care across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. Full time and part time applicants will be considered for positions that are currently available at both Hinckley Town Centre and Leicester city clinics. The MSK service manages self-referrals and referrals from primary and secondary care allowing you to gain a breadth of experience across the MSK speciality and we offer a variety of telephone/virtual consultation and face to face appointments for our service users, giving variation within the role for our staff to develop skills within each of these areas.

Leicestershire Partnership Trust are committed to developing our staff, alongside support from your peers you will receive regular supervision and training from clinical team leads and clinical specialists. There is an established in-service training programme and you will also receive access to a well-known and respected online learning platform recently subscribed to by the service. Your career progression is encouraged via further training, leadership opportunities and FCP development programmes.

There will also be opportunity to support and develop students and more junior members of the team.

Main duties of the job

To work as a specialist clinician within the Service delivering high standards of care to our service users via specialist Physiotherapy assessment and treatment to patients. Work where necessary in a multidisciplinary format supporting clinical care pathways.

Ensure professional standards and high quality of care is maintained in the workplace. Show initiative, efficiency and flexibility when working independently, as part of your team or when meeting the needs of the wider service.

Work as a team supporting the team lead when required and offering support and supervision to more junior member's of the team and students on placement with the service.
