The post holder will provide comprehensive, high level and specialist administration support which will cover the Trust Research Office functions and support high quality research delivery staff and related activity across the Trust.

Main duties of the job
This role requires a high level of administrative and
management skill and a flexible approach driven by the daily changes in demand.
The post-holder will be a key member of the integrated R&D Team providing
efficient and professional administrative services, co-designing solutions to
problems, to enable our ambitions to embed research across the organisation.
If successful, you will provide efficient and timely support and collective
oversight for all aspects of research governance and research support processes
for non-portfolio and NIHR Clinical Research Network (CRN) Portfolio research
studies. You will work collaboratively with all stakeholders involved in
research, and to be the initial point of contact for these, and for members of
the public, patients and service users involved in research.
Using exceptional communication skills, you will manage all
correspondence (email, telephone etc.) for the Research Office. This role will
provide administrative support in research communications including maintenance
of R&D webpages, managing social media accounts, distribution of regular
research communications and the responsibility for the organisation and
co-ordination of dissemination and training events.
You will provide high level support and involvement in Committees and
Groups related to Research. This successful candidate will also provide
comprehensive support to embed Patient and Public Involvement in all aspects of
research within the Trust.
