Job summary
We are looking to appoint a part-time Admin Assistant to join our friendly administration team based at Prince Philip House, Leicester, LE1 2NZ. The team provides full clerical support to the Adult Speech and Language Therapists working across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
You will work alongside and be supported by our other Administrators and our Administration Manager.
Working Pattern - 20 hours per week, 4 hours a day (Monday-Friday).

Main duties of the job
- Act as a central point of contact for clinicians and patients for Adult SLT Service
- Managing referrals into the service on the Electronic Patient Record (SystmOne)
- Taking and passing on phone messages
- Booking, cancelling and rearranging appointments
- Managing Incoming and Outgoing post
- Printing and sending correspondence to patients and other professionals
Our Speech and Language Therapy Service is county-wide with community, voice and acute hospital teams and supported by a dedicated administration team to provide a high quality service to the people of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. We have around 50 clinical staff from Band 4 to 8a including specialists in voice and dysfluency, neurology, brain injury, stroke, head & neck, dementia and critical care.
