Job summary

We are offering an exciting opportunity with the Adult Eating Disorder Service for an experienced leader to take on the role of Clinical Lead/Project Manager in a brand new service, targeting patients with deteriorating weight in an intensive virtual programme on a part time basis (two days a week).

The new Waterlily Inpatient Prevention Programme (IPP) will be offering patients an adjunct to their ongoing therapy. This will include a range of individual sessions and groups including: CBT, Psych-Ed, Body Image Group, Anxiety Management amongst others. The Waterlily IPP will also support patients with meal supervision, trips to coffee shops/supermarkets and low-key fun groups.

This role will be responsible for supporting/ leading the implementation of the Waterlily IPP pilot which is a joint venture between Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust and Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, before rolling the service out to the wider East Midlands Collaborative (which includes Derbyshire, Nottingham and Lincolnshire). This will be a 6-12 month fixed term contract.

The service will comprise Occupational Therapists, Assistant Psychologists, Healthcare Support Workers and Business Admin support.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide clinical leadership to all staff
  • To lead and support on control of management plans and submitting monthly progress reports of pilot
  • To support management of budgets, as required, and communicate financial position accordingly
  • To lead and coordinate work of different work streams within the pilot
  • To lead and support with the overall pilot duration, when activities and events are planned, including their dependencies taking into account requirements and availability of resources.
  • To lead and support the development of the pilot in readiness for transition into wider collaborative
  • To lead and support with the management of the pilot risk log
