Leicestershire
Partnership Trust, Tissue Viability Service has a new and exciting opportunity
to improve the skill mix within our team. We are offering the opportunity for a
registered adult nurse to join our team as a band 5 wound care support nurse.
We are
looking for a candidate that demonstrates a clear passion for tissue viability.
They must provide evidence that shows they are a prominent person within their
team for their proficiency in the management of wounds and are a key driver of
pressure ulcer quality improvement within their place of work.
This
is an ideal opportunity for someone able to demonstrate prior knowledge of
Tissue Viability through their current roles and responsibilities. This role
will aim to broaden their range of skills and knowledge whilst caring for
people in their own environment or hospital as part of a multi-disciplinary
team.
The
post is to support the existing CHS Tissue Viability Team to monitor and
evaluate the wound care and services across all areas of care within LPT.
The

Main duties of the job

registration experience and completion of Tissue Viability courses in wound
care /leg ulcer care/pressure ulcer prevention would be essential.
