Job summary
Do you have excellent communication skills? If yes, then come and join the Podiatry and Non-cancer Lymphoedema Service Booking Team.
We are looking to recruit an additional member of staff to work in our booking office at South Wigston Health Centre. The booking office is the hub of the Podiatry and Non-cancer Lymphoedema Service providing a high-quality telephone-based booking service for podiatry and non-cancer lymphoedema patients living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
We are looking for somebody to work 9am to 5pm Monday, Thursday and Friday.
Main duties of the job
The main duties and responsibilities of the booking clerk are to provide an effective, efficient, and professional telephone central booking facility and help line for the Podiatry/Lymphoedema Services, patients carers and clinical staff. Duties will including answering the telephone calls, booking appointments, dealing with queries etc. As well as monitoring patient waiting times and clinical diaries in order to make best use of clinical staff time and to met KPI's.
