Band 7 Senior IT Specialist - Application Software Developer

Job summary

The post holder will work within our software development team as an Application Developer, collaborating with the Product Owners, Customers and Stakeholders within an Agile development environment to implement new systems and features that support the LPT Digital Health Transformation Service

Main duties of the job

  • To utilise application development and coding skills (for example .NET, Ruby,) to ensure the development, evolution, operation and maintenance of new and existing systems as well as participating in the technical architectural design of systems hardware and hosting
  • To have overall responsibility to ensure that a service to clients is delivered in accordance with LHIS and LPT Trust standards and values.
  • The post holder will provide good leadership and management of resources, to develop and sustain a positive working culture.

  • To be influential within the organisation and provide detailed advice to others internally and externally to the organisation, within their sphere of competence.
