Leicestershire Nutrition & Dietetic Service (Community) are looking for permanent dietitians to join our friendly, innovative mental health and Primary Care team in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland, working for Leicestershire Partnership Trust. Leicester Nutrition and Dietetic Service (Community) has approximately 70 staff, made of dietitians, public health nutritionists, dietetic support workers and support staff. The posts offer the opportunity to work with a wide range of population groups and health care professionals in a range of settings including mental health inpatients, outpatient and digital clinics, patient/staff education sessions. We are committed to developing your dietetic practice and offer the unique opportunity to develop your skills additionally across a range of specialities to suit the interests of the applicant e.g. primary care, prescribing. We are looking for dietitians who have good team working skills and can work independently. The service has good clinical supervision models and in-house CPD in place to support you. The service is involved in the pre-registration placements for student dietitians undertaking A, B and C placements. This post does require a car driver
Main duties of the job
To work as a member of the dietetic teams to provide a comprehensive Nutrition and Dietetic Service across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. The main role is to work within the innovative Mental Health team supporting inpatients and outpatients whilst further developing your skills
