Braunstone hub is situated close to the M1 motorway, we consist of 5 smaller teams and care for patients who are housebound and have a nursing need. As a Community Staff Nurse, you will be providing direct patient centred care on a daily basis.

Merlyn Vaz hub is situated in a modern health centre with dedicated community nursing teams, parking is available at both sites. The 2 city hubs are separate but work collaboratively and in partnership to care for the residents of Leicester.

Our caseloads are diverse and no two days are the same, you will be part of a forward thinking team. Community Nursing is an exciting opportunity to further develop. The trust actively promotes and supports development, and there is the opportunity to complete the specialist practitioner qualification subject to funding for those wishing to progress within LPT

Main duties of the job

As the Community Staff Nurse, you will provide high quality patient centred care as part of the nursing team, reporting to the District Nurse or Team Lead.

You will be seeing patients on the caseload on a daily basis and undertaking a range of clinical skills.

You will visit patients, providing excellent holistic care and support, as well as supporting others in the team to develop and flourish.
