Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to join our innovative and well supported team working across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

Main duties of the job

The Team

The team is very supportive and inclusive. We have regular meetings and can support your CPD through a variety of activities and team days aimed at sharing best practice and learning. It's a great environment to develop your career.

Duties include:

  • Providing effective caseload management in community clinics and specialist settings
  • Providing assessment, diagnosis and intervention approaches for children aged 0 19 years with speech, language and communication needs
  • Working in collaboration with health and education colleagues to support children's needs in health settings, schools and nurseries.

You will need to demonstrate knowledge and application of evidence based practice.

As the role requires travel to various sites, you will need to have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
