We have a vacancy for a Healthy Child Programme Nurse with the Infant Feeding Team across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. The post holder will have nursing registration RGN, RN (child/adult).
You will need to be a driver and have access to your own transport.
Public transport will not be suitable in order to fulfil this role.

Main duties of the job
You will support the Infant Feeding team in maintaining the UNICEF UK Baby Friendly Accreditation, working alongside the team to deliver a high-quality service.
You will work as an integral member of the Infant Feeding Team, developing required clinical skills to support the implementation of the Infant Feeding Policy. This will involve staff training, audit and supporting the Specialist Infant Feeding Service.
You will be supporting families to achieve their feeding goals.
Assist in the delivery of the Specialist Infant Feeding Service in the community by facilitating clinics, home visits, telephone and virtual support. Assessing infant feeding, developing feeding plans, assessing tongue function and supporting with complex feeding issues, enhancing client experience by using research and evidence-based care.
