Job summary

As the E-Communications Officer within the team you will focus on the development of communications and technological innovations crucial to the positive promotion of all that we do as a Trust.
The E-communications officer role plays a lead role in developing and maintaining our e-communications - such as our websites and social media channels, as well as creating engaging campaigns and media releases. It will therefore be essential that you have excellent written and verbal communication skills, that you are social media and digitally savvy and that you can think creatively to improve our online offer and influence.

Main duties of the job
This role will be responsible for external communications activities that have significant reputational impact for the Trust. Specifically, the postholder will focus on the development of communications/technological innovations that would raise the profile of the Trust such as high performing trust-wide websites, social media and other online platforms, and supporting reputation management.
They will be handling complex information and project managing the development of e-communications systems, co-ordinating internal and external stakeholders' feedback to continually improve e-communications products; and managing external suppliers.
In addition, you will be delivering externally facing campaigns and media releases to support the communications team on a corporate and Trust wide level. You'll also be working with communications champions across the Trust, supporting them by designing and delivering relevant training and guidance.
