Pennine Care NHS FT has redesigned its senior leadership structure to strengthen collective leadership. The collective model of leadership is now embedded throughout the Executive Team, the Networks and the Care Hubs. At a Network level, the leadership team comprises a Network Director of Transformation and Delivery, a Director of Quality, a Psychological Professionals director and the Network Associate Medical Director/Associate Chief Medical Officer (NAMD/ACMO). The NAMD/ACMO is a senior role reporting directly to the Executive Medical Director/Chief Medical Officer (EMD/CMO) and plays a key role in driving forward our vision to deliver outstanding Mental Health, Learning Disability and Autism services and shaping our inclusive culture in line with our Trust values.
Main duties of the job
The NAMD/ACMO will be an integral part of the Trust's Medical Senior Leadership Team (SLT) team and support Clinical Directors (direct reports), engaging in key regional and local forums supporting other members of the triumvirate. The NAMD/ACMO will be accountable for the development of service strategies, consistency in standards across the trust, lead specific service transformations, promote clinical leadership, work with members of the SLT to implement the Medical Workforce Strategy, educational objectives, as well as embed principles of QI and EDI thorough all work within the trust.
