Job summary
An opportunity has arisen within the acute services in Tameside for a band 2 Housekeeper. Saxon suite is a 22 bed in-patient ward situated within Tameside general Hospital. The ward cares for males between the ages of 18 - 65 who are experiencing acute mental health problems. This is a vital role to support the smooth functioning of the ward and you will be part of a thriving team which is committed to providing a high level of quality care to the patients they work with.
Main duties of the job
Working as a member of the ward team you will be involved in a range of housekeeping duties, working in close liaison with the ward manager, in order to ensure that key tasks are effectively managed. This is a key role on the ward and we are looking for a motivated individual to become part of our thriving team.
