Job Opportunity: 12-Month Secondment - Team Manager (Maternity Leave Cover)NHS Bury Talking Therapies ServiceOverview:An exciting 12-month secondment opportunity has arisen within the NHS Bury Talking Therapies service for the role of Team Manager, to cover maternity leave. This full-time role presents a unique opportunity to lead and support either our Step 2 or Step 3 clinical team (depending on your experience), and to play a key role in shaping high-quality, person-centred care in a supportive and innovative service.We are seeking an experienced and motivated mental health or applied psychological professional who is looking to further develop their operational and leadership skills within a well-established and supportive service. This post provides an excellent platform for current Managers or Talking Therapies clinicians who have management experience to take the next steps in their career.
Main duties of the job
- The Team Manager, employed by Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust, will support with the operational management of the team and support with the strategic management of the wider pathway.
- The post will involve supporting the management and development of pathways both internally and externally.
- Provide day-to-day operational leadership and management of the Talking Therapies service across Step 2 and Step 3.
- Oversee the delivery of NICE-recommended interventions by a multidisciplinary team of psychological therapists
- Ensure high standards of clinical care, performance monitoring, and service delivery in line with national guidance and local priorities.
- Support service development initiatives and maintain a positive, inclusive team culture.

Working Arrangements:This is a full-time post, Monday to Friday. While the service supports flexible and remote working arrangements, the successful candidate will be expected to be work from the office or a clinic base to accommodate changing service need and team requirements.
