The Health and Wellbeing College offers a range of recovery focused educational courses and resources aimed at supporting people in recognising their potential, through self-management, to deal with the mental and physical health challenges they experience and to achieve the things they want in life.
Role Aim
To be the 'expert by experience' in the college co-production process; using personal experience of mental health challenges to work alongside 'experts by expertise' to collaboratively design and deliver a range of recovery focused learning opportunities for students, with the aim of helping students live a meaningful life.
To support and assist with the enrolment process and enable students to choose courses, which suit their own learning goals.
To attend any promotional / recruitment / graduation events as required and to promote the role of the peer trainer and / or to support students as necessary.
To work at any designated campus site, or any other designated area, as required, to meet service need.

To keep up with any changes or developments regarding the peer trainer role locally or nationally.
