Job summary

We are looking to welcome an experienced Part-time administrator (22.5hrs/week) to work within a friendly and dynamic Older Adult Community Mental Health Team based in Bury. We are a multi disciplinary team made up of Mental health nurses, Support workers, Occuptional therapy, Mental health wellbeing practitioner and Clinical psychology providing specialist mental health assessment and interventions to the Older Adult population of Bury. This is an office based administrative role providing support to a busy Older adult community mental health team in Bury.

Main duties of the job

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of Trust staff and externalagenciesGood keyboard skillsAbility to prioritise workload effectivelyGood organisational skillsGood written and verbal communication andinterpersonal skills, excellent telephone manner.Ability to work as a team member and individuallyConscientious and able to prioritise work to meetdeadlines.Knowledge of Office procedures and systems.Understanding of the importance of maintainingconfidentiality.

Use of Electronic systems and Microsoft software.

Access to and use of appropriate means of transport across theTrust footprint in line with service needs.Flexible to occasional work outside of scheduled hours.

To receive and deal with all incoming telephone calls and take messages asappropriate in a professional, polite and efficient, in a manner that is consistent with Trust policies and procedures whilst presenting a positive image of the serviceRetrieving voicemail messages and responding to callers.Communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external contacts using a variety of methods.Collect, collate, input and extract data into/from NHS systems as directed by Team Manager (PARIS/Clinical Systems, EASYtimesheet,Electronic Staffing Records, Team activity, referral/discharge stats).Responsible for the safe storage of data and information in accordance with Trust policies ensuring guidelines regarding confidentiality, disclosure of information and Data Protection are observed at all timesMaintain administrative systems set up in team offices to ensure an organised and efficient working environment for staff.Undertaking various clerical duties such as, photocopying, faxing, filing anddealing with incoming and outgoing post.
