We are seeking to recruit a Senior Planning and Performance Manager to join the planning and performance function within our Strategic Delivery Hub.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Planning and Performance specialist to join our existing team and help drive forward our business planning and performance and accountability frameworks and across the Trust.
As a senior leader in the organisation, you will provide expert support and leadership forthe business planning and performance management functions across the Trust and within our Operational Networks and Care Hubs ensuring processes are aligned to our strategy and objectives, statutory and regulatory standards, and specific commissioning requirements
As a key member of the operational senior leadership team you will provide excellent leadership and day to day management support to staff ensuring the key priorities of team are understood and delivered within timescale.
You'll be spending a lot of time talking to senior leaders , services and external stakeholders, so your communication and negotiation skills will be formidable, as will your ability to understand complex service issues and challenges.

Main duties of the job
- Development and implementation of our Business Planning and Performance and Accountability frameworks building a culture of strong planning and performance improvement across the organisation.
- Production of the annual Trust Business Plan and in year updates against agreed delivery plans for our senior leadership and management groups , Board and Committees
- Production of the monthly Integrated Performance Report for our senior leadership and management groups, Board and Committees.
- Routine monitoring and assessment of key performance standards, facilitating performance diagnostic's processes to understand the root causes behind performance and supporting the development of performance improvement plans and trajectories.
- Utilising your understanding of performance trends and operational pressures to inform future planning decisions in the context of the ever-evolving NHS landscape.
