Job summary
The Service Desk Officer is responsible for receiving and managing tickets from the Service.
Desk Operators and carry out remote fix's to user issues, and for helping the Service desk operators when needed and training in area of expertise.
This is a new merged team that ultimately aims to be the 1st line support and basic user/system set ups both desktop and system request, however it is acknowledged that initially the potholder will have knowledge of desktop support OR system support.
Over time, with training the postholder will acquire knowledge to offer all 1st line support to the user.
